PRESS RELEASE: Paralympic hopefuls start their Gateway to Gold in Madison, WI
The Paralympic Talent ID clinic is a Biathlon/Nordic skiing focused event which will inform, identify, recruit and develop new Paralympic eligible athletes. This clinic will provide an opportunity for potential athletes to move into the paralympic athlete pipeline by connecting with CXC, the regional paralympic development program for Nordic Skiing and Biathlon. Come dressed for outdoors!
CXC has assisted hundreds in obtaining equipment for adaptive nordic skiing and continues to host weekly training sessions in the Madison area. The organization is excited to introduce their new Regional Development Team for paralympic athletes with several members competing for spots on the U.S. Paralympic Team competing in the upcoming Winter Paralympic Games in Sochi, Russia.
Event is free and open to all adaptive athletes.
Veteran Sports Day / Paralympic Talent ID Clinic
Assist in hosting CXC’s Veteran Sports Day and Talent ID Clinic! Volunteers needed to help run sport stations, hospitality, and lunch distribution.
