November CXC Adaptive Program Update

Screen shot 2013-12-05 at 3.48.57 PMA quiet month with the adaptive youth program, Brenden is getting in a couple of days training a week, thanks again to Jason and also to Colin.  Braydon is getting stronger under the guidance of Jessie with help from Noreen.  Unfortunately Andrew had some medical issues which laid him up for a couple of weeks and we look forward to seeing him after Thanksgiving.  We also held a couple more clinics at Janesville.  All of the boys and girls are eager to actually get onto real snow, so we’ll have to bust out the skis and wax soon.

This was a quiet month on the VA front.

The Paralympic Nordic Ski Team were training by themselves this month and most have travelled to West Yellowstone for the start of training on snow. Steve Baskis now has a real guide in Andy who knows his left from his right and who can actually ski as fast as Steve.
