It seems like a long time ago that I was up in Cable, WI at the REG camp. Summer is moving fast. I was able to log some solid training. Some of it taking place at my old stomping grounds of the Two Rivers, WI area. This gave me the opportunity to take Tula out on some of the trails I use to run.
We also spent some time at my high school office. It is good to see the water level returning closer to what I remember. It has risen over 3 ft in the last two years. There is still plenty of beach.
I spend a lot of time in the garden this time of year. Strawberry picking is long past and the first crop of raspberries is just about finished. There are different vegetables ripening every week. The freezer is filling up. Good nutrition is important to maximizing potential in all things.
Out of curiosity I checked the distance I have logged skiing in my current log book program which dates back to 2009. There is 47,459 km of roller skiing and snow skiing. The earth has a circumference of 40,075 km. Having excellent equipment like Marwe Rollerskis, Rossignol Skis and Boots and Start poles helped make this so enjoyable.
