Creekside Elementary in Sun Prairie, WI share their favorite parts about the ‘Nordic Rocks’ for Schools Program.

Almost Halfway!

Dear friends,

I’m happy to announce that we have reached almost 50% of of our goal, with 17 days remaining!

It’s through your generous giving, that we are moving towards our goal of $30,000.

Looking back on the year, we’ve highlighted many different stories of how CXC is making a difference around our region, for our sport, and getting many involved in participating in Nordic sports. Help us share the word and introduce our story to someone new.

It’s through the support we receive from those who believe in our mission, that we are able to make these wonderful programs continue!

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,
Yuriy Gusev

‘Nordic Rocks’ for Schools Program

“The best thing about the CXC Nordic Rocks for Schools program is being able to teach a lifetime sport to my students and, now we have a cool activity that they can do outside in the winter, when otherwise we would normally be in the gym.”

Mia Zutter, a visually impaired athlete, skiing with a guide at Telemark Trails

“Our daughter, who is visually impaired, began training with the CXC Adaptive Program about a year ago. With the vast experience and knowledge of the staff there, she has grown by leaps and bounds not only as a skier but as a person. CXC has supplied Mia with tools to conquer challenges on the trail and in the world of a young adult with a visual impairment.”

Seeing the ‘Pipeline’ Grow

“In the future we want to keep the pipeline full of Midwest athletes competing at Junior Nationals, Senior Nationals and qualifying for International Trips. Keeping the strong momentum of our clubs and coaches going will help us develop a deep talented Midwest team year after year. Overall, having the entire Midwest region involved and pulling towards this goal is a key to success.”

– Chris Harvey, Head Coach of Midwest Junior National Team
