Less Than A Week Left! -$13,575 Away From Reaching Our Goal!

Dear Friends,

As of today we have raised $16,425 towards our goal of $30,000! Thank you! This is a 1:1 challenge grant where your gift is matched dollar for dollar.

Just how important is this milestone? Well consider this…with your help, we can introduce children of all backgrounds to a lifelong activity like Nordic skiing and use our sport as a tool to develop essential life values such as excellence, friendship and respect. These values will apply on the snowy playground behind the school, in a first ski race, in academics, back at home and in life. With the help of our sport we can and will grow leaders in our communities that value and promote a healthy lifestyle and joy of winter!

In 2015 we were able to bring cross country skiing to 35 elementary and middle schools around the Midwest. This year it’s our goal to add at least 25 more schools around the Midwest. If each of those schools has 200 kids participate in the program, we will provide the opportunity to learn more about cross country skiing to more than 5,000 kids. That’s just one way we are striving to grow our sport.

At CXC our goal is to have a complete pyramid of athlete development, whether the top of the pyramid is an Olympic dream or simply enjoying winter on skis.

Any amount will help and with a $100 donation or more you will get a special gift from – a CXC Craft ‘Sweden Blue’ Hat. Every contribution no matter great or small is deeply appreciated.
Thank you.
