HS graduation is upon us. It is a good time for us to reflect how proud we are of all our great student athletes in our sport!
We are also at a time where CXC and US Ski and Snowboard membership renewal is open for 2018-2019.
We hope you are aware of our CXC Club membership benefits, and would like to get your feedback! Here is a Google form for you to let us know how important the benefits you currently receive with your CXC Club Membership are to your club and ideas you have for additional benefits:

Along with 2018-2019 club membership being open, 2018-2019 athlete membership is open:
As you talk to your junior athletes (and their parents) about navigating CXC/US Ski and Snowboard membership, be aware that new this year from US Ski and Snowboard is:
THE ABILITY TO UPGRADE FROM LAST YEAR’S $40 CXC COUNTRY GENERAL MEMBERSHIP (WHICH INCLUDED A US SKI AND SNOWBOARD $15 GENERAL MEMBERSHIP) TO THIS YEAR’S $135 CXC/US SKI AND SNOWBOARD COMPETITOR (U16+) MEMBERSHIP FOR NRL (NATIONAL RANKING LIST) RANKING WITH RETROACTIVE SCORING.
If an athlete renews early, they will be able to request having their NRL race results from last year to be scored to this year’s lists.
For those wishing to have better seeding at CXC Cup and other NRL races, this is a great bonus.
Have your athletes get on top of this right away if they will benefit from this bonus so JJ Ehlers at US Ski and Snowboard is able to process the request in a timely manner.
* If an athlete tries to do this in the week leading up to the races, they are going to be out of luck.
For further info from US Ski and Snowboard on the upgrade and points in general: if members upgrade from the general to competitor during the season they will receive their points once the next points list closes. More information on points and rankings can be found here:
Until next week, enjoy the new training year!
