This year’s CXC Superfit Weekend takes place Nov. 2-4 at Pioneer Midwest in Osseo, Minn. CXC staff will be on hand to complement the store’s staff and assist with ski, pole and boot selection and fitting; ski apparel and wax box insights.
“We are very excited to have Kevin present at our Superfit Weekend,” said CXC’s Nordic Rocks Program Director Bruce Manske. “As someone who grew up cross country skiing and competing throughout the Midwest, he won numerous races, state high school titles, regional events, and went on to become a U.S. National Champion, so he truly epitomizes the talent and hard work ethic of a Midwest skier!”
Over the past 10 years, CXC’s Superfit Weekend has featured many shops throughout the region. This year’s event provides a unique opportunity to for skiers to engage Pioneer Midwest’s talented staff, which includes Birkie champion and former U.S. Ski Team member Matt Liebsch; eight-time American Birkebeiner participant and former St. John’s University team member Adam Johnson; and wilderness expert and avid nordic skier, Brad Johnson.
